We are looking for someone who creates relationships easily and uses these skills to recognize opportunities and turn leads into long term partnerships. As one of Portal Green’s first hires, you will play a key role not only in the development of the company’s sales strategy/team, but also in the culture and direction of the company. You will be responsible for creating, building and nurturing our customer relationships. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a company from the ground floor. Are you ready?

What are my Responsibilities?

  • Create/manage the top of the sales cycle (generate sales pipeline, qualify, follow-up on leads and contacts, anticipate and overcome objections, follow handoff process to the appropriate PG contact).
  • Be passionate about both our customers’ problems and about our ability to solve these problems.
  • Understand our value proposition and long-term vision and use this knowledge to build and maintain relationships and proactively sell offerings to customers.
  • Provide on-going support, information and guidance to customers.
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends and competing products.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

What Skills and Qualifications are required?

  • Demonstrated success in a high volume, sales-oriented role
  • Demonstrated ability to overcome objections
  • Proven success in customer account management, relationship building and maintenance skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and Sales Enablement technology
  • Self-starter, passionate and consultative are words that have been used to describe you.
  • Sales experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
    • Sales of employment solutions or talent acquisition tools.
    • Sales to small to medium businesses with multiple sites or locations
    • Experience working for a startup company with new products
